Starting today, there’s a lot of pinning going on in the world of DC Comics.

No, we haven’t all suddenly become a bunch of bug collectors and voodoo doll enthusiasts. We’re talking about the official, just-launched DC Comics’ Pinterest page! If you read THE SOURCE, then you know that we’re always looking for new ways to engage and interact with our fans. Well, with our new Pinterest page, you’ll now have an all-access pass to new artwork, images and pictures, as well as a chance to see what other DC fans, artists and authors are sharing.

If you’re new to Pinterest, here’s how it works. Pinterest lets you share some of the great things you find on the web in a way that’s both intuitive and visually dynamic. Users create “pinboards” to organize images they want to keep. (They’re a bit like those old fashioned corkboards you see on shows like Mad Men—only better.) You can also browse pinboards created by other people. Like our Superman board, for example. If you’re a fan of the Man of Steel, click “follow” on the board to have the images we pin visible in your feed. The DC Comics’ Pinterest page is another great way to see art, sketches and photographs from DC Comics events!

Not sure where to start? Create a board with the cover art of your most read issues by repinning images from our page. Are you an artist yourself? Create an inspiration board with cool sketches from your favorite artists. Have you been jonesing for that newest Batman: Arkham City statue? Pin it to your wish list!
