TINY TITANS spoofs DC Comics-The New 52

In TINY TITANS #43 (on sale August 17th), look out for a very special gag of DC Comics-The New 52 revolving around Cyborg.

“This is an AMAZING time for the ‘AW YEAH’ age of comics!” said series writer/artist Art Baltazar. “Comics and super-heroes have been in our hearts since we were babies! It’s an honor to be part of the DC Family! This awesome news is perfect timing with DC Comics-The New 52 #1s! Fans have been asking us what we think ... let’s just say ... you will have to ask Cyborg in this issue.”

Superboy vs. Superman

Last we saw the Young Justice team, they were making s’mores and telling stories over a campfire. In issue #6, the bonding and sharing continues as the gang reveals their origins to one another. Hear Dick Grayson tell the story of how he turned into Robin. See how M’Gann made her way from Mars to Earth. But when Superboy starts remembering how and why he was created, he can’t help but feel that he must take down Superman. Will he be able to resist his dark impulses or is the temptation too sweet?

As Seen at SDCC

San Diego Comic-Con is a great place to see some of your favorite writers, artists, pencillers, and colorists. For those of you who couldn’t make it to the convention or missed these moments, here are a few photographs from my time there.

As a result of the conflict, an ancient evil in the farthest reaches of the universe has broken free, consuming countless Green Lanterns in its wake, feeding on the vast energy of their power rings. To halt its path of raw destruction, the Guardians send an elite crew led by Guy Gardner to find it and halt it — permanently. Can Guy and his team stop this beast before it reaches Oa?
