The New Adventures of the Man of Steel Continue

Over the course of last week, we provided you with a first look at the solicits for the October titles in DC Comics-The New 52. In case you missed it, earlier today THE NEW YORK POST exclusively revealed the cover to ACTION COMICS #1. Below, check out the solicits for the second issues in the Superman group books in DC Comics-The New 52:

FLASHPOINT FRIDAY: “Step back, I’ll fix it my way.”

When Cyborg locked Mick Rory away in the Hall of Doom for murdering Firestorm, little did he know the risk that comes from being the target of Heatwave’s vengeance. With help from Eel, a.k.a Plastic Man, Heatwave generates an escape plan. But in order to be successful and gain back the weapons that fuel him, he must get past Atomic Skull and the Meta Gang, Animal Man, and Atom to name a few.

FLASHPOINT FRIDAY: “Unite and follow me as one great force and the whole of Calcutta can be ours.”

Michael Desai is as ruthless in his personal life as he is in the business world. A look back into his origins shows how he took over the crime scene in India and set up the power base he has today. But when Teth-Adam launches an attack to get rid of him, Michael will have to eliminate his nemesis. Can The Outsider’s powers overrule Shazam’s? And even if he does win his battle, will it truly be over?

FLASHPOINT FRIDAY: “The Amazons have been streamrolling over the entire region. Guess it was only a matter of time before we got caught in the crossfire.”

A savage attack by the Amazons ends in Dick Grayson’s orphanhood. With Deadman now being the closest thing he has to a family, Dick will have to convince his friend to join him in the Resistance after a vigilante named Vertigo enlists their help. But why was the Graysons’ circus a target of an Amazonian attack? What do they have in their possession that’s worth so much and to what lengths will the Amazons go to attain it?

FLASHPOINT FRIDAY: “‘Together’ Is A Strong Word”

There was once a time when Aquaman and Wonder Woman were to be married. For political reasons, it made perfect sense: with their powers combined, together they could conquer the world. But when Diana’s mother was killed by an Atlantean, Wonder Woman and Aquaman’s alliance was broken and the two became mortal enemies.
