Earlier this month, DC Entertainment Senior Vice President of Sales, Bob Wayne, was presented with a lifetime achievement award with a slightly different profile: The ComicsPRO Industry Appreciation Award. The Award honors individuals in the comic book industry who have been committed to the direct market and comic book retailers across the country.

EVERYBODY’S TALKIN’ ABOUT THE FLASH #6

Captain Cold makes his return in THE FLASH #6, available this week. Speaking with POPMATTERS about the re-imagined rogue and what’s on the horizon for Barry Allen, co-writers Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato also addressed the design of the series and their unique use of real-life science to tell a science-fiction story. “We have certain goals in terms of where we want to take Barry Allen, and the Flash,” said Manapul.
