This past Saturday night, at the 15th annual PRISM Awards, DC Comics was honored for their accurate portrayal of mental health/drug issues in two of their titles. The DC series RISE OF ARSENAL by writer J.T. Krul and artists Geraldo Borges and Marlo Alquiza centered on Roy Harper’s long-standing battle with drug addiction in the wake of the loss of his daughter’s life. The "Ajax" storyline in Vertigo’s GREEK STREET by writer Peter Milligan and artist Werther Dell’Edera, which dealt with issues including Post-traumatic stress disorder, was also presented an award. GREEK STREET, VOL. 3, which includes the PRISM Award winning issues #12-14, will be released in trade paperback form this September. RISE OF ARSENAL issues #1-4 are available in the recently published hardcover collection, JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE RISE AND FALL.
