A quick look below will show you that this is a massive week for DC Comics, but you know who’s also having a historical week? Geoff Johns.
Last week we revealed the sad news that Johns will be ending his groundbreaking, ten-year run on Green Lantern. However, that’s yet to take place, and with the launch of Justice League of America and Justice League of America’s Vibe, this week represents a perfect storm of comic books written by Johns. And a perfect week for his fans! JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #1, JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA’S VIBE #1, JUSTICE LEAGUE #17 (there’s plenty of justice to go around!) and GREEN LANTERN #17 (which kicks off Johns’ final storyline, the epic “Wrath of the First Lantern”) all will hit the physical and digital comic racks this Wednesday.
Of course, as much as we may love the guy, man cannot live on Geoff Johns alone, and there are plenty of other highly anticipated comics arriving this week written by the likes of Grant Morrison (ACTION COMICS #17), Brian Azzarello (WONDER WOMAN #17), Bill Willingham (FABLES #126), Paul Levitz and Keith Giffen (LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #17), B.
