Welcome back for another installment of Preview Monday! This week, we’re giving you exclusive first looks at JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #31  and THE SANDMAN: OVERTURE SPECIAL EDITION #2.

First, in JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #31, who is Alice Winter? Zatanna and the team find out that Asa—the Nightmare Nurse—isn’t who she claims to be. And the search for answers will have consequences that none of the mystics are expecting! Look for JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #31, written by J.M. DeMatteis and illustrated by Andres Guinaldo, Mark Irwin, Walden Wong and Allen Martinez, this Wednesday.

Then, in THE SANDMAN: OVERTURE SPECIAL EDITION #2, we’re treated to a behind-the-scenes look at series artist J.H. Williams III’s design process. Alternating issues with the main THE SANDMAN: OVERTURE miniseries, THE SANDMAN: OVERTURE SPECIAL EDITION #2 includes the entire second chapter—before final coloring—featuring translucent lettering, allowing the reader to see the exquisite artwork behind the word balloons. This issue also features a Q&A and a Process Piece with colorist Dave Stewart and a look at writer Neil Gaiman’s script in progress! Written by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by J.H. Williams III, THE SANDMAN: OVERTURE SPECIAL EDITION #2 hits shelves on Wednesday.
