Collectible Close-Up: Batman Arkham Asylum Poison Ivy

If you've ever come to visit us at SDCC, NYCC or another one of our many conventions, you’ve likely noticed how we always have plenty of great DC Collectibles statues and action figures on display. We’ve been doing this for years, and over that period we’ve noticed how much time fans spend looking at our new collectibles, particularly the statues, making sure they take enough time to examine all of the texture and detail. This isn’t really surprising. Unless you happen to see one of our statues on display, it’s sometimes hard to gauge its level of intricacy. Usually, you have nothing more to go on than the photo on the box or website you’re ordering from. Conventions are often your best place to get a good look.

But what if you can’t make one of our conventions? Well, say hello to “Collectible Close-Up,” a new feature we’ll be running here from time to time that allows you take a good look at one of our new statues through a series of photographs designed to show off the sculpt. Up first we have our upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum Poison Ivy statue. It’s one of our most detailed Arkham statues to date, was developed to be the most accurate representation of Ivy’s videogame design and features the same desaturated color scheme found on other statues in the line.

Ivy stands approximately 8.5” tall, was sculpted by Karen Palinko and is on sale November, 2014. Pamela's ready for her close-up, Mr. Demille. Enjoy!
