SPOILER ALERT: If you have not read GRAYSON #2 yet and do not wish to know what happens, stop reading this post now (major spoilers ahead!).

Dick Grayson’s new life as an international spy continues!

In the opening issue (GRAYSON #1), we learned Grayson is secretly working as a double agent for Batman! Posing as “Agent 37” at the spy agency, Spyral, Grayson is actually teaming up with Batman to spy on the organization as it spies on fellow superheroes. Talk about a top-secret mission!

Resuming his Spyral “mission” to expose and shut down the black market for “Biomech digestive processors,” Grayson and partner, Helena Bertinelli, investigate the small town of Farmington, Leicestershire. Canvasing the locals at a nearby bar, Grayson meets a woman named Dr. Ashbury who seemingly insinuates she knows what he’s looking for. Convinced he’s found a lead, Grayson follows her.

Leading Grayson into an adjacent basement, it’s immediately apparent that Dr. Ashbury doesn’t want to help Grayson - she wants to EAT him instead! Helena appears just in time, and as they work to detain Dr. Ashbury, a heated argument ensues over what to do with her.

As their argument heightens, Helena whispers something into Grayson’s ear causing him to suddenly fall to the floor, thus revealing her ability to control him through his Hypnos implant device!

We all know Dick Grayson has a tendency to fall for beautiful women, but take a look below as Helena knocks him out with a simple word! What does this mean for Grayson and Bertinelli's partnership? Is this going to affect Grayson's future as a spy?

GRAYSON #2, written by Tim Seeley and Tom King and illustrated by Mikel Janin and Guillermo Ortego, is available in stores now.
