Time traveling made simple.

This unique transport was created in the future and allowed the Time Master (and occasionally Booster Gold!) to voyage through space and time.  First appearing in the pages of the comics in 1959, the Time Sphere was created by Rip Hunter, as Harrison Wells name-dropped.

So, who is this Rip Hunter guy?

He’s just your average time-traveling superhero from the future—so far in the future that his base of operations is at the edge of the end of all time.  He’s played a significant role in several DC Crisis events.  And, as we just recently found out, he’s going to be one of the major players in The CW’s brand new fall series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!  Wish we could time travel forward to see this show right now!

A glimpse of days to come?

What did we see when Barry ripped through the Speed Force barrier?  Scenes from the past… and the future.  A meta-human woman with white hair. 

And a massive building guarded by two gigantic statues of The Flash?  Of course, you knew that was the Flash Museum, right?

A flying hat?

Even better!  A winged hat!  True fans know that is part of the costume of Jay Garrick, the very first Flash that every appeared in DC Comics. 

Since time travel is now established as firmly part of the show, it’s possible that we might pay a visit, or receive a visitor, from the Golden Age of Comics.
