On June 24th the comic book community was hit by a flock of Robins with the introduction of the new DC title, WE ARE ROBIN. With issue #3 on shelves, just last Wednesday (8/26), we began to see the consequences of picking up the mantle of vigilantism before one is ready. @DCCOMICS showed us,with these sneak peek Robin tweets: TWEET 1, TWEET 2, TWEET 3, just what some of those dangers could be! 

What determines the appropriate time to call-to-arms? Is it age? Experience? The number of weapons in your arsenal? Or is it something else entirely that can't quite be measured - something that is only known through intuition in that moment? 

Writer, Lee Bermejo shares, with PASTE MAGAZINE and DC COMICS his inside thoughts on just what compells these kids to emulate Robin and inspire them to become the self crafted heroes you see in this series.
