On Earth, some habitats have animals that could have the chance of withstanding even Mr. Freeze’s Freeze Ray.

 

One of these animals is the Red Flat Bark Beetle. This animal is able to survive temperatures of up to -150 degrees Celsius (-238° F) by producing proteins that prevent the beetle’s blood from freezing in such cold temperatures. That means that this beetle can survive nearly double the lowest temperature ever recorded on Earth!

How’s that for super powers?!
