Calling all cosplayers! San Diego Comic-Con is now less than a week away, and we can’t wait to see all of you in our booth. No matter what great character you’ve chosen to cosplay this year, you’re welcome in our booth at any time. But we’re also hosting special cosplay meet-ups every day of the con, and even better, any cosplayer who joins us for one of our meet-ups and fits the theme will receive a special custom DC Fans medal for participating (while supplies last—so get there early!).

Thursday, July 21 at 2:30 p.m. – DC Comics Bombshells Cosplay Celebration

Over the past few years, the DC Comics Bombshells have become extremely popular characters among cosplayers, so we’re pleased to host a special DC meet-up just for them! Whether you’re basing your costume on the bestselling line of collectibles or on the popular digital first comic book, we’d love to see you.

Friday, July 22 at 5:00 p.m. – Suicide Squad “Squad Up!” Cosplay Celebration

With its release now right on the horizon, we expect the colorful cast of Suicide Squad to be popular cosplay subjects this year, so we’re hosting a meet-up to celebrate them. Did you base your costume off of the Suicide Squad comic series rather than the film, you’re invited as well. Join us to celebrate the “Worst Heroes Ever” and meet the amazing winners of our “Squad Up!” Suicide Squad Cosplay Contest.

Saturday, July 23 at 5:00 p.m. – Wonder Woman Cosplay Celebration at Island and 6th Avenue

This is our only cosplay meet-up not happening in the DC booth, and it’s for a good reason—what better place to celebrate Wonder Woman than alongside her Invisible Jet? Yes, if you haven’t heard, in honor of Wonder Woman’s 75th Anniversary, Warner Bros. is bringing Wonder Woman’s infamously hard-to-spot ride to SDCC. You’ll find it at Island and 6th Avenue in the Gaslamp District, which is where we decided to hold this special Wonder Woman cosplay celebration.

Sunday, July 24 at 1:30 p.m. – DC Super Hero Girls Cosplay Celebration

The DC Super Hero Girls have taken fans by storm, and we suspect we’ll be seeing a lot of great costumes inspired by the hit line of toys, animation, books and comics. DC Super Hero Girls cosplayers of all ages are welcome to “get their cape on” and join us for this special meet-up, held on SDCC’s final day.

We hope to see you at one of these great meet-ups, even if you’re not in costume. After all, cosplay gatherings also make amazing photo ops!
