Between Man of Steel, Superman Unchained and “Zero Year,” it’s not surprising that Superman and Batman have been stealing much of the DC Comics spotlight. But if DC COMICS – THE NEW 52 has taught us anything, it’s that our spotlight is large and easy to share (and it also makes a nifty batsignal, if you turn it upside down and paint a giant bat on it).
The war between the Trillians and the Mangels rages on and the Justice League is caught in the middle! Superman uses reason to try and defuse an intense situation even as a Trillian Megabomb embedded in the planet counts down to what could be the end for an entire species. Meanwhile, Rebel One and her Undercloud hacker collective’s plan for Gotham begins to come into focus.

It’s been a great weekend for Superman, and an even better one for Superman fans, who came out en masse to catch their favorite hero’s latest cinematic foray, Man of Steel. By now, it’s safe to say that Henry Cavill’s debut in the cape is a big success, and that’s something we can all celebrate—those of us who work here at DC Comics and our amazing fans.
