In honor of Batman: An Animated Celebration, our week-long tribute to Batman: The Animated Series, TIffany Smith writes about her childhood spent watching the show after school, and the impact it had on her. Particularly her love for a certain lovestruck former psychiatrist.
If you missed the news last week, Batman: The Animated Series is the inspiration for the newest line of action figures from DC Collectibles. We thought this was worth celebrating, so to give the action figures a proper launch, we’re devoting much of this week to Batman: The Animated Series here on DCComics.com with a five-day event called “Batman: An Animated Celebration.”
Looks like we have a whole new year of arrows and awesome abdominals to look forward to!
In the world of DC Comics, you don’t need super powers to look into your future. You just need Scott Snyder and Dustin Nguyen. In this week’s eagerly awaited BATMAN #28, we take a break from the ongoing “Zero Year,” and jump from the past deep into the future with a special standalone “spoiler” issue that looks at what lies in store for Batman in the months ahead.
Valentine's Day is here once more, and we couldn't be more thrilled! Oh wait, no. The other thing. Depressed and lonely. Kidding! We're doing great. ::weeps into bowl of ice cream::
You might not be able to fly, know how to solve life-or-death mysteries or possess the keys to a batplane or invisible jet, but this Valentine’s Day, there’s one thing you can do every bit as well as a super hero.
You can kiss.
