The rift tearing into the Justice Society continues to deepen due to the strange actions of several new team members as well as the eruption of some long-seeded conflicts. It all leaves the team dangerously weak and vulnerable as their home base comes under attack from an army of bounty hunters bent on collecting the price on the head of each and every member of the Society.
Sterling Gates is far from a newcomer to the DCU -- but he's certainly one that's on the rise. With his work -- alongside artist Jamal Igle -- redefining and stabilizing SUPERGIRL, Gates has made a name for himself for his tight plotting and knack for strong and precise characterization. All of which can be seen month-in and month-out in the pages of the Girl of Steel's ongoing series.
With the Teen Titans unraveling at the seams, Beast Boy and Raven must return to Titans Tower to help Wonder Girl right the sinking ship. But things are rarely that easy for the team, as you can imagine. Hope aboard for new writer Felicia D. Henderson's second issue, with art by Yildiray Cinar.
In the way only a title like AMBUSH BUG can, the series jumps forward to issue #7 on 10/28. But wait, what about #6, you ask? Worry not, dear reader. Writer/artist Keith Giffen will explain all. Or maybe he won't. You'll just have to pick up the issue next week to see -- and after all this build-up, how could you miss it?
