Get a first look at DOOM PATROL #1

Let's cut to the chase: We've got an early look at the first issue of DOOM PATROL #1, right here. Written by Keith Giffen with amazing art from Matthew Clark and featuring a METAL MAN co-feature by Giffen, J.M. DeMatteis and artist Kevin Maguire, it's hard to think of why anyone would pass the issue up, no? But we refuse to miss a chance to show some of these great-looking pages.

Cap off the day with some BATMAN CONFIDENTIAL #31

Writer Peter Milligan teams up with R.E.B.E.L.S. artist Andy Clarke to kick off a new five-part arc in the pages of BATMAN CONFIDENTIAL, with an international twist. When a powerful Russian mobster sets his sights on Gotham City, Batman thinks he's ready. But this isn't any ordinary mobster, and he's bringing backup in the form of...a bear?

A day in the life of SUPERMAN Group Editor Matt Idelson

Ooh, look! Sun! I’d forgotten what that looks like. Neat. Today is a bit of a mad scramble (what else is new?). We’re wrapping up the lettering on ACTION COMICS #879, which means a lot of emailing back and forth with letterer Rob Leigh. He’s come up with what I think will be a stronger method for the English subtitles to all the crazy Kryptonian speak going on in the book.

action comics, elisabeth gehrlein, francis manapul, gary frank, Geoff Johns, Greg Rucka, jamal igle, James Robinson, jared fletcher, javier pina, jon sibal, matt camp, matt idelson, pete woods, rob leigh, sean ryan, sterling gates, supergirl, superman annual, superman secret files, superwoman, wi moss, world of new krypton

Happy Friday. Enjoy some RUN! #3 pages

Happy Friday, Source readers. It's been a busy week here at DCU headquarters, as usual. So why not head into the weekend with some cool pages? Fair enough. FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH: RUN! #3 shows off everything you've come to love from the series: beatings, fire, explosions, guns, mean-spirited humor, stupid costumes and even stupider people. All this plus the Human Flame gets a new lady.

Are you ready for JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRY FOR JUSTICE #1?

The Justice League has always been about loyalty, friendship and teamwork. But it's also about Justice. When Green Lantern challenges his teammates to focus on that aspect of the name in the wake of the death of Martian Manhunter and Batman's disappearance, he finds himself on the ground floor of a new team's formation.

How about some more Howard Porter MAGOG artwork?

Sure, why not?

MAGOG, by writer Kieth Giffen and artist Porter, puts the spotlight on the hardline character as he breaks off into his own ongoing series. And who better to tell the tales of a hero with no limit than Giffen, a writer known for pushing the envelope regularly? And wait, there's art.
