Well, here's a new image for you, the cover to DETECTIVE COMICS #857, hitting in September. The first issue featuring Batwoman, #854, hits 6/24.
Earlier today, we gave you a look at the first issue of BATMAN: STREETS OF GOTHAM #1. Nice, huh? But did you know Paul Dini's writing two monthly books featuring Batman and his world? Well, he is. And GOTHAM CITY SIRENS features Dini's work on some of the most striking femme fatales in Gotham, namely Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn.
There's a new Batman patrolling the streets of Gotham City -- how do the police, criminals and Joe Citizen react? How do the denizens of Gotham City feel about the new vigilante? Can he control the criminal element as effectively as Bruce Wayne?
Try not to get mad at us, folks, but we decided it'd be a nice kick-off to the weekend to throw you another cool BATMAN AND ROBIN image.
You may have noticed a trend here at The Source. We like to show cool art once it appears in our inbox. SUPERMAN Group Editor Matt Idelson and his assistant Wil Moss, coincidentally, like to forward us cool art. It works out nicely.
Eddie Berganza’s not one to mince words, and more than willing to let the art speak for him. And we’re OK with that. Take it away, Eddie:
If you miss any issue of the 7-part CRY FOR JUSTICE mini, you are so gonna hate yourself!
Happy Friday, Source readers. By now, you've probably picked up your copy of BATMAN AND ROBIN #1, and seen the preview pages and commentary across the web. But why not finish off the week with something more? Here's the cover to #4.
