This time, with more Joker!
As far as iconic covers featuring the Clown Prince of Crime go, few can compare with Jerry Robinson’s DETECTIVE COMICS #69 cover, with a looming Joker hovering over the Dynamic Duo. Let’s take a look, shall we?
Well, we can’t. But we can give you an equally-amazing image to kick off your day.
In addition to the 75th anniversary covers we’ll be rolling out here on The Source this week and beyond, we’ve also got a first look at DC UNIVERSE: LEGACIES #1 for you. As some of you know, LEGACIES spans five generations of heroes, from the dawn of the Mystery Men to the present. In the first issue, the Second World War rages on, setting the stage for the debut of a new hero.
We’ll have a full preview of the third issue of BRIGHTEST DAY soon enough, but in the meantime, why not spend a few minutes eyeing these two lovely covers, courtesy of artists David Finch and Ivan Reis on the variant?
It’s time to go back to the future, gang, as fan-favorite LEGION writer Paul Levitz teams with rising star artist Yildiray Cinar to chronicle the adventures of the 31st century’s premiere super team. Picking up on threads from SUPERMAN AND THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES and creating its own, the first issue is no slouch in the action department, as an entire planet is destroyed.
Got some news for you, gang. Ready?
