It’s tough being the new kid on the block. That’s true whether it’s your first day at a new job, your first time pitching for the local baseball team, or your first time meeting your new neighbors—when you’re literally the new kid on the block. No one likes being the rookie, the freshman, the cub.
It’s a tale of blood and family secrets!
The upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us video game, which releases on April 16, pits the world’s greatest heroes and villains against one another in a face-punching, scenery-smashing brawl across the streets, rooftops and hidden Batcaves of the DC Universe. Preview Monday: WONDER WOMAN #19 and FABLES #128
Welcome back for another installment of Preview Monday! This week, we’re giving you exclusive first looks at WONDER WOMAN #19 and FABLES #128!
You’ve probably noticed that we’re more than a little excited about Injustice: Gods Among Us dropping next week. As fans of DC Comics and fighting games, this is like a dream that’s come true and taken us out for ice cream. Right now, there’s little that’s exciting us more than the chance to finally sit down and play the game.
We’ve all be there. Discussing our favorite super heroes with our friend (let’s randomly say, oh, Jimmy) and suddenly the conversation turns to who would win a fight. Not between us and Jimmy (obviously, that’d be us—what now, Jimmy?!) but in match-ups between Superman and Batman, Wonder Woman and SHAZAM!, the Flash and Green Lantern.
It’s been a little while since Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained landed a pair of Oscars for Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor (for Christoph Waltz’s sublime performance as Dr. Schultz), and we still have another week until the movie hits Blu-Ray and DVD. And you know what we’ve realized?
