If you visited either DCComics.com or VertigoComics.com yesterday, you likely saw our slides suggesting that Alfred E. Neuman was joining the DCU as our newest Robin or teasing a new spinoff series called Canadian Vampire—co-written by Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire.
If we were a roll of a certain popular, circle-shaped hard candy rather than a comic book publisher, we’d be one of the multi-flavored ones. At least this week. (And yes, we do spend our lunch break thinking up analogies like that. What of it?) We started the week off with a laugh and a wink before getting very serious for a moment.

Preview of SMALLVILLE SEASON 11 #12
In case you missed it, Clark Kent’s ten-year journey from boy to Superman – previously seen on the hit CW television show, Smallville – has made a triumphant return in the comic medium. SMALLVILLE SEASON 11 picks up immediately after the final episode of the fan favorite series and focuses on Clark’s early experiences as the Man of Steel.
