Arrow: The Complete First Season hit stores this past Tuesday, and with Season 2 premiering in just a few weeks (October 9!) we figured it was the perfect time to start leisurely re-watching the entire first season in preparation. Paced out, we'd be able to watch an episode a day, starting with the day of release and ending on the exact day of the premiere. It was the perfect plan.

Yesterday saw the release of the original television soundtrack for the first season of Arrow, and listening to it, a few things become clear. The first is how wide ranging the score is, offering up both gentle, romantic themes of love and longing as well as relentless, dark beats that effectively convey the violent vigilante justice that the show’s also known for.
You know our characters. You’ve read their comics, watched their movies and TV shows and played their games so often that you practically have them memorized, right? Well, we’re about to put that to the test.
