History:
Little in the universe is left to coincidence, so when seven strangers—including several immortals, a demon and an Amazon—are brought together to defend the realm, those chosen are not there by accident. These Demon’s Knights, as they were called, were first needed to defeat Mordru and the Questing Queen in the village of Little Spring.

Soon, their adventures would lead them into conflict with the great Wizard Merlin and even Lucifer himself. The questions remains—why were these strangers collected? Several of their members, including Vandal Savage, Etrigan and Madame Xanadu, appear to exist centuries later in modern times. If this is true, are they still acting out their mission? And what of their connections to the modern-day group known as Stormwatch? What is history trying to tell us about these Demon Knights?
