History:
Driven by her time spent with Team 7, the cold and manipulative Amanda Waller leads the Suicide Squad, an ultra top-secret branch of the U.S. government that deploys incarcerated super villains into the field for missions considered extremely dangerous and controversial. In exchange for each completed operation, the team members receive special considerations during their sentence. These missions are so dangerous that high casualty rates are expected, earning the team its name. To keep the Squad under control, Waller has implanted a small explosive device in each operative’s neck. Any members of the Suicide Squad attempting to escape will be killed instantly. 

The Squad’s dubious actions and Waller’s own agenda have made them a target for retribution and betrayal. Their recent battles against Basilisk and constant tension in their ranks have threatened to pull the group apart.
