New York Comic-Con has begun and the atmosphere is electric. (Or maybe that’s just the free WiFi provided by LexCorp.) Fans are flocking to the DC Entertainment booth to get a glimpse at the three amazing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice costumes that are on display, and to get their comics signed and their sketchbooks sketched by some of their favorite DC and Vertigo writers and artists. And speaking of Vertigo, their panel is tonight. Wonder what might be revealed there…
We’re used to seeing Superman as in control and good tempered. He may be a man of action and willing to throw a punch in the name of justice, but rarely does he get mad. And yet, that’s the only way to describe him in one of the latest photos to be released from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Squaring off against Batman, the Man of Steel looks moments away from letting loose with a blast of heat vision. We think it’s fair to say that in the battle between these two heroes, the gloves are off!
We’ve only seen a few seconds of video and a handful of still photos of Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it’s been more than enough to confirm that we’re in for a much more contemporary take on the character when Zack Snyder’s super-powered blockbuster debuts next March.
