Caption This!: Injustice Green Arrow vs. Deathstroke Two-Pack

Ah… It’s a beautiful morning here at the DC Collectibles office. The sun is shining, flowers are in bloom, and there’s a nice, gentle breeze in the air…which is blowing the pollen from the flowers all over the place and turning us all into a bunch of sneezing, sniffling zombies.

But hey, we’re not going to let that get us down. Not on a beautiful day like this. In fact, it’s so beautiful that we thought we’d let Green Arrow and Deathstroke out to enjoy the sun and the breeze in a special edition of Caption This!

Can’t you just hear the birds tweeting overhead? Or are you too busy thinking up the perfect caption to that peaceful piece of imagery? Well, if you come up with one, be sure to share it with us below in the comments. Then be sure to “like” any other captions that you think are particularly clever, so those ones rise to the top.

Now, excuse us. We think we hear a hammock calling our names. Or maybe we’ve just had a bit too much allergy medication. Either way, we want to know…can you Caption This?

Caption This!: Superman The Man of Steel Statue by Lee Bermejo

Aloha, and welcome to Caption This! our monthly mash-up of collectibles, captions and cleverness. If you’re new to the beach, the rules are simple. We give you an awesome photo featuring a newly released DC Collectible, and you comment with your best caption for it. Unable to come up with your own caption, but see one you think is really righteous? Be sure to “like” it so it rises to the top.

Ready to hit the waves? Then let’s go. It may still be spring, but the surf’s up in Maui and even the Man of Steel can’t resist waxing up the stick and catching a few breakers. Though you would’ve thought he’d at least take off the cape…

Well, at least we know staying out too long in the sun isn’t a problem for Superman, and that even drenched with saltwater, his signature curl’s still in place. So what do you think? Are you cutting out…or can you caption this?

Caption This!: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: A Call to Arms

Welcome, Bat-fans, to Caption This!, DC Collectibles’ monthly game of captionary cleverness where we give you a fun photo and ask you to compose the perfect caption for it. As many would-be captioners have discovered, it’s not always easy to nail that perfect combination of inside knowledge and humor that all great captions have in common. But don’t take our word for it. Try it out yourself!

In 1986, Frank Miller gave us the Batman classic, The Dark Knight Returns. About four months ago, we announced a series of DC Collectibles statues and action figures inspired by the book. And today, we’ve taken one of those statues and done something absolutely ridiculous with it. Yes, it truly is a great day to be a Batman fan. And apparently, it’s also a great day on the ol’ farm for a pony ride.

Man, there’s a lot of tallgrass on the mean streets of Gotham. No wonder Batman’s decided to ditch the Batmobile for a four-legged ride. So, you think you can Caption This? Well, then git to it, pardner! Giddyap!
