Welcome, Bat-fans, to Caption This!, DC Collectibles’ monthly game of captionary cleverness where we give you a fun photo and ask you to compose the perfect caption for it. As many would-be captioners have discovered, it’s not always easy to nail that perfect combination of inside knowledge and humor that all great captions have in common. But don’t take our word for it. Try it out yourself!
With WonderCon Anaheim just a few short weeks away, it’s time to announce the con exclusives.
If you haven’t already heard, this year, the official WonderCon Anaheim convention T-shirt features an iconic image of Superman drawn by Jim Lee, DC Entertainment Co-Publisher and artist of this summer’s new series SUPERMAN UNCHAINED written by Scott Snyder. This art is also featured on the cover of the official convention Program Book.
Here’s a first look at the t-shirt!

What do you call a month with two DC Collectibles Spoiler Alerts in it? We call it February.
A few weeks ago, we gave you a fast and furious Spoiler Alert that offered up an early look at one of our upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us action figures, before we announced a full line-up at Toy Fair. This time, we’re giving you a look at…well…
It’s the kiss that comics fans can’t stop talking about. Superman and Wonder Woman shared an embrace beneath the moonlight in the pages of JUSTICE LEAGUE #12, and they’ve been DC Comics’ premier power couple ever since. Since that first moment, there have been quite a few lip-locks between the Man of Steel and the Amazon Princess, many of them rendered by the intricate pencils of Jim Lee. However, they’ve all had one thing in common—they’ve all been on paper.
Wide Range of New Toys and Collectibles Inspired by DC Entertainment Comics, Video Games, Film and TV Properties Set to Debut in 2013
Welcome back to Spoiler Alert, our monthly feature where we tease a cool new, as-yet-unannounced product from DC Collectibles and then invite you to try to guess what it is. Sound simple? Then clearly you haven’t tried it yet. Not only are our images close-up shots of often indistinct details, but we redact the heck out them and slap the Spoiler Alert logo on top of key sections of the photograph. And this time, it’ll be even more difficult because you’ll only have a day to figure it out.
Just like a certain Dark Knight, Caption This has returned! We’ve emerged from our month-long “retirement” and are back with a great new photo. Will you rise to the challenge with an equally inspired caption for it? Does the Batmobile fire rubber bullets? (No, seriously. Does it? We’ve never been able to tell if Batman was being serious there…)
