It’s about to get hot as Brian Azzarello and artist Cliff Chiang take us to the depths of Hell in WONDER WOMAN issue #7 this March.
Remember the myth of Orpheus? Wonder Woman does. And we hope she’s learned its lessons well as someone she loves is in Hell’s clutches and she’s about to head out on a rescue mission. But Hades has no mercy—even for family members--and doesn’t intend to let her out of his domain without paying a price.
Now to reveal the incredible cover by Cliff Chiang:
In this two-part story “The Hunt for Harley Quinn” written by Adam Glass with art by Clayton Henry, Harley’s former teammates on the Suicide Squad track her through Gotham City as she tries to discover the truth behind the Joker’s disappearance.
Along the way we’ll learn Harley’s origin as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a groundbreaking psychiatrist who works her way into the Joker’s mind as he works his way into hers, revealing her own madness within.
James Robinson and JT Krul will contribute individual stand alone stories in MEN OF WAR issue #7. We caught up with Robinson and Krul to get the inside scoop on their contributions.
Is it true that you’ll be writing MEN OF WAR #7?
JR: Absolutely. It's been a fun coming up with a story for the book. Lots of research.
When a scientific experiment tears a hole in the barrier between dimensions, miners from a forbidden universe arrive to steal Earth’s gravity! Can Stormwatch—with their ranks depleted after recent cataclysmic events—find a way to repel alien excavators that shred our reality with every touch?

Just as the nature of the Firestorm protocol is enhanced by the different personalities that fuel its matrix, THE FURY OF FIRESTORM: THE NUCLEAR MEN will explore new story possibilities with new combinations of its creative team. Beginning with issue #7, Joe Harris will be joining Ethan Van Sciver as co-writer.
Harris is perhaps best known for his work on GHOST PROJEKT, and he has also written some one-shots for DC Comics – including a Scarecrow story for THE JOKER ASYLUM and BATMAN: BATTLE FOR THE COWL: MAN-BAT.
One of the most iconic characters in the DC Comics line-up and among the most popular series in DC COMICS-THE NEW 52, THE FLASH will soon have his hands full with the return of his classic rogues gallery - reuniting under the leadership of Captain Cold in THE FLASH #7.
Captain Cold has been glimpsed and teased in the pages of THE FLASH thus far, but in issue 7 he'll be back with a vengeance - and we all know that revenge is a dish best served cold.
