Convergence Week One: Stephanie Brown, Wally West and Oracle Return to Comics!

Last week we announced CONVERGENCE, the massively Multiversal crossover event that kicks off in April. Well, bit by bit we’re learning more about it. Today, CBR and io9 announced the first week of miniseries, complete with creative teams and very intriguing imagery. Set in the pre-Flashpoint DC Universe, these miniseries offer us glimpses of heroes from not too long ago including Stephanie Brown’s Batgirl, Wally West’s Flash, Renee Montoya’s Question, Barbara Gordon’s Oracle and a classic-suited Harley Quinn.

Nightwing #30 by the Numbers

After taking a few months off (the guy just died—cut him some slack), Nightwing returns for one final issue today with NIGHTWING #30, the conclusion of Dick Grayson’s current DC Comics – The New 52 series. Now, with his secret identity revealed and last seen heading for Gotham City at the end of NIGHTWING #29 and trapped in the Murder Machine in FOREVER EVIL #6,  Dick Grayson has had more than a few mysteries—and tragedies—surrounding his storyline in the last few months. 

USA TODAY has the exclusive announcement that sheds some light on his story—beginning in July, Dick Grayson will headline the new ongoing comic book series: GRAYSON.
