Today DC Entertainment launched MORTAL KOMBAT X, a new weekly Digital First comic series based on the critically acclaimed game franchise developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Mortal Kombat X, the next installment of the game continues 25 years after the events of 2011’s MORTAL KOMBAT. The comic book series will serve as a prequel to the game and feature fan-favorite characters including Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, as well as the next generation of Kombatants.
