At the end of the epic DC Universe Online cinematic trailer, we see Lex Luthor giving what's left of the Justice League the lay of the land in a world where Brainiac is quickly taking over.
This storyline rolls out in DC UNIVERSE ONLINE LEGENDS, where Lex Luthor must join forces with a few unexpected allies to take the fight back to Brainiac. But - The Atom? And Black Canary?!
Find out who else has Lex'sback as the series continues with issue #6 (shown below), on sale in April.

GREEN LANTERN CORPS #57
If there was a crowd-stopper at last year's San Diego and New York Comic-Cons, it was definitely the DC Universe Online cinematic trailer: a great, six-minute piece of animation where the big heroes of the DC Universe, well, get absolutely destroyed.
Each time the trailer played in our booth, most everyone within a thirty-foot radius (myself included) would stop in their tracks and watch for the full video. The trailer's pinnacle comes when Lex Luthor [SPOILER WARNING] impales Superman with a kryptonite-tipped spear, which would draw a gasp from the crowd each time without fail.
Doomsday's back - and while we agree that that’s not a good sign for the heroes of the DCU, we can still ask: why did Doomsday return?
Well, I asked, and I got a hint back in return. Here's a few words from DC Executive Editor Eddie Berganza about Reign of Doomsday:
Next year's "Reign of Doomsday" storyline is still shrouded in mystery. We've done a couple teases here on The Source, and here's another: this great splash by Ed Benes from STEEL #1!
Excited? Me too.
While present-day Lex Luthor is busy fighting an array of the DCU's most vile foes over in ACTION COMICS, this year's ACTION COMICS ANNUAL takes a look back at two formative encounters Luthor had before he became the bald mad genius we know and love today.
Paul Cornell gives us two great stories in this double-sized volume. In the first, Marco Rudy illustrates a story of young Lex and Darkseid, while in the second we've got Ed Benes tackling a tale starring Luthor and Batman villain Ra's al Ghul.
ACTION COMICS ANNUAL #13 hits stores on December 2nd.
