On August 31st, the fifth and final installment of Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert’s bestselling series, FLASHPOINT, hits stores. That day will also see the launch of DC Comics-The New 52, with the release of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s JUSTICE LEAGUE #1.
During today’s FLASHPOINT panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that in order to transition into this exciting and historic new era for the comic book industry, FLASHPOINT #5 will provide a bridge that will lead to DC Comics-The New 52.
“When FLASHPOINT started, we said ‘everything you know will change in a flash!’” said FLASHPOINT editor and DC Entertainment Executive Editor, Eddie Berganza. “Look through FLASHPOINT as well as the various mini-series and you start to get a hint at what that change means with DC Comics-The New 52!
