Last night at a press event in Burbank honoring industry legend Grant Morrison, the prolific writer officially announced that he’s collaborating with artist Yanick Paquette on the all-new original graphic novel, WONDER WOMAN: EARTH ONE.

First appearing in the “Batman & Son” storyline from BATMAN #655-658, Damian is the scientifically engineered child of the Dark Knight and the daughter of one of his greatest enemies, Talia al Ghul. Fearful of his son’s dark future under Talia’s guidance, Batman took Damian under his wing upon discovering the boy’s existence and trained him as the new Robin.

Following the tragic death of Damian Wayne in BATMAN, INCORPORATED #8 by Grant Morrison and artist Chris Burnham, BUZZFEED unveiled an exclusive gallery of Bat-Family covers featuring reaction to the news.
Each cover depicts a character affected by the news of Damian’s death and, in most cases, is a tribute to their personal relationship with Robin.
"Little did I suspect when I accepted the BATMAN writing assignment back in 2006 that I’d wind up spending the next six years writing the longest continued comic story I’ve ever attempted. I thought I’d said most of what I had to say about the character with Arkham Asylum, Gothic, and Batman’s appearances in JLA. Clearly, I was wrong.
Since the launch of DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 in September of 2011, prolific writer and comic book industry legend Grant Morrison has been writing the adventures of Superman in ACTION COMICS.
But on March 6th, the release of ACTION COMICS #18 will mark Morrison’s final issue as the series’ writer. Concluding a story nearly a full year-and-a-half in the making, this special oversized issue will surely quickly become a “must-have” item for comic book collectors.
