Greetings DC Nation! Are you ready for WonderCon? We're so ready to go that I took a practice run to the airport this morning and then I held a rehearsal DC Universe panel on the street in front of our offices. We are THAT ready. From April 2-4 we will be at the Moscone Center South in San Francisco and we will be the best prepared comics publisher you have ever seen! You will be in awe of the precision of our details and the smoothness of our delivery.
Power Girl squares off against Satanna and her Animal Army just as Terra enters the fray. This should be a good thing, right? Maybe not. Somehow, PG’s gained herself a new enemy. Talk about a rough day. All thanks to the team of writers Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner. POWER GIRL #10 hits 3/24. [gallery link="file"]
The question’s obvious: Who’s taking over the creative reins on POWER GIRL? Well, let's read the tea leaves a bit, shall we? As some of you recall, Power Girl was once a member of Justice League Europe. It seems like a lot of the characters that were under the umbrella of Justice League International are reforming in the pages of JUSTICE LEAGUE: GENERATION LOST. JL: GENERATION LOST is written by Judd Winick. Well, so's POWER GIRL, starting with June's issue #13.
Well, we gave you a little tease last week -- with some help from Matthew Sturges --about JSA ALL STARS #4 (which we've kindly included below), but what of the other titles tied to the team? I'm staying tight-lipped, but these cover images should help give you an idea to what's coming up. [gallery link="file"]
As promised, following co-writer Justin Gray's comments from yesterday, we bring you Jimmy Palmiotti's thoughts on the series hitting #50, plus a few lovely preview pages. Take it away, Jimmy: In the 70’s, John Albano and Tony DeZuniga knocked it out of the park. Simple as that.
February's still a ways away, dear readers, but we figured it'd be a good time to give you an inside look at the covers of some of the JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA family of titles hitting that month -- and there's a ton of hitting happening in these pages. Check out the covers for the February issues of MAGOG, POWER GIRL, JSA ALL STARS and the JSA ANNUAL below. [gallery link="file" columns="2"]
The trio of sexy alien marauders continues their rampage across Earth, and Power Girl makes her last stand against these seemingly unstoppable foes. But even Power Girl has her limits…from the team of writers Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti and artist Amanda Conner. POWER GIRL #6 hits 10/21. [gallery link="file"]
