A few variant covers to close the day

I get it. It’s the middle of the week. Your brain is fried. You don’t want a long post explaining anything complicated. How about some nice art to click on and get you through your last hours at work?

Especially when it’s stuff like BRIGHTEST DAY #5 – one by Ivan Reis and another by David Finch, FIRST WAVE #3 by Lee Bermejo, JUSTICE LEAGUE: GENERATION LOST #5 by Tony Harris and SUPERMAN: SECRET ORIGIN #6 by Gary Frank.

Close out the week with another open thread: Favorite DC storyline?

Did you think we’d stop at just one?

We liked the idea of polling creators on their favorite covers so much – and based on their response, they liked it, too – we decided to expand the question a bit: What’s your favorite DC Comics storyline of all time?

So, Source readers, let your wheels start turning. What’s that one issue, storyline, etc. that stands above and beyond the others as your favorite DC Comics storyline? I know what mine is. Share yours in the comments below.

Unveiling the new POWER GIRL creative team

The question’s obvious: Who’s taking over the creative reins on POWER GIRL?

Well, let's read the tea leaves a bit, shall we? As some of you recall, Power Girl was once a member of Justice League Europe. It seems like a lot of the characters that were under the umbrella of Justice League International are reforming in the pages of JUSTICE LEAGUE: GENERATION LOST. JL: GENERATION LOST is written by Judd Winick. Well, so's POWER GIRL, starting with June's issue #13.
