Did we scare you? Shocks, surprises, twists and turns have been staples in comic book storytelling—nay, all forms of storytelling—since, well, forever. Nothing beats turning the page and gasping at a plot twist or revelation you didn’t see coming.
No, you haven’t woken up in an alternate reality, the newest entry in the popular series of DC Universe Original Animated Movies is based on Flashpoint, the popular, continuity-shattering graphic novel by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert.

The upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us video game, which releases on April 16, pits the world’s greatest heroes and villains against one another in a face-punching, scenery-smashing brawl across the streets, rooftops and hidden Batcaves of the DC Universe. From Superman and Batman to Black Adam and SHAZAM! all the way to Catwoman and Doomsday, there’s no end to the pugilistic possibilities in this super hero smackdown.
This summer, a war of epic proportions will hit the DC Universe.
Kicking off in July, “Trinity War” will find the Justice League, the Justice League of America, and Justice League Dark teams battling one another in a monumental crossover event. Spanning over six issues throughout the pages of JUSTICE LEAGUE, JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA, and JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK, “Trinity War” will see Earth’s biggest heroes going head to head in an explosive arc that will defy the superhero genre.
