The long weekend is almost upon us, and minds tend to wander this close to the end of the work day. So, how about I provide you with a handful of links to click through and get through the day a bit faster?

A first look at Patrick Gleason’s BATMAN AND ROBIN

We’ve had a lot of Batman news of late, but one thing we haven’t shared is what the new creative team on BATMAN AND ROBIN will be doing visually. As we unveiled not long ago, Peter Tomasi will be taking over as writer with his former GREEN LANTERN CORPS collaborator Patrick Gleason stepping in as artist.

And now, to end a short week with some cool news, we present you with Gleason’s first cover, for November’s BATMAN AND ROBIN #17.

A few variant covers for Tuesday

We’ve got a nice dose of eye candy for you today, folks, with covers to BRIGHTEST DAY #9 by David Finch and #10 by superstar Ivan Reis, DCU: LEGACIES #5 by the legendary Walt Simonson, GREEN LANTERN: EMERALD WARRIORS #2 by newcomer Felipe Massafera, another wonderful Brian Bolland ZATANNA cover (for #5, natch) and an energetic Lee Bermejo SUPERMAN #703 piece.

Pretty impressive roster, eh? Well, don’t let me stop you from clicking on the images below…

An epic piece of BRIGHTEST DAY art

By now, you’ve seen a few of these lovely White Lantern covers, featuring Aquaman, Firestorm and more — but did you know that together, the covers form a massive, amazing piece of art that shows many of BRIGHTEST DAY’s key players while also teasing at what may be to come?

New questions arise and secrets revealed in BRIGHTEST DAY #8

Writers Geoff Johns and Peter Tomasi continue to turn up the pressure on our heroes, as the Hawks face separate danger in Hawkworld. Who is Queen Shrike? And Miss Martian aids the Martian Manhunter in making a startling discovery. All this while more clues surrounding the mysterious White Lantern are hinted at. Plus, where’d Deadman and Dove go?

BRIGHTEST DAY #8 hits tomorrow.
