Brian Cunningham stars in... "Stuff in my Office"

Hi everyone! Brian Cunningham, here—editor of such titles as TITANS, R.E.B.E.L.S., POWER GIRL and more.

When I’m not editing or shirking responsibility, I like to put stuff I like in my office. Some of the stuff is kinda neat, and some of it is admittedly kinda weird. But I like it, and since I gotta look at it all day, that’s most important. I like having stuff around me that inspires me or even relaxes me during those stressful days of deadline doom.

Finish off the week with a look at POWER GIRL #5

Writers Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray and amazingly talented artist Amanda Conner continue to bring the fun with the second part of their "Space Girls Gone Wild!" arc, which finds the trio of sexy alien marauders continuing their rampage across Earth. Power Girl tries to figure out how to stop them, but with aliens this pretty, readers might not want them to leave. But don't take my word for it. Check out some pages below.

POWER GIRL #5 hits 9/23.

Unfortunately, this galactic bender includes destroying the planet. Sounds like a certain Power Girl has to crash the festivities, no?

San Diego news: Announcing JSA ALL STARS

The Justice Society has always been about legacy. Young and old. Legends and rookies. Together to protect Earth from any kind of villain.

But what happens when the generations disagree?

After writers Bill Willingham and Matthew Sturges conclude their first arc on JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA, the team splits – creatively and literally, with Willingham holding the fort and Sturges moving over to a new ongoing series, JSA ALL STARS, with artist Freddie E. Williams III.

A cover’s worth a thousand words

So, everyone knows that DC has the BEST comic book covers in the business and it’s been that way for a long, long time. I mean, with a crew like Jim Lee, Adam Hughes, Lee Bermejo, Frank Quietly, Andy Kubert and ALL of our other great artists, how could we possibly make things better?  I’ll tell ya, by sending out a challenge to all of our monthly cover artists to go wild on their covers for the month of August.  WOW!  Just check out some of the results.  I’d say these guys kicked butt (again!).
