Since the final few moments of Arrow's spectacular Comic-Con trailer, fans have been eagerly anticipating the first onscreen appearance of Season 3's main villain--Ra's al Ghul. An iconic character in comics, film and animation, Ra's is the leader of the infamous League of Assassins and has been a formidable foe to many DC Comics characters.
Ra's was mentioned throughout Season 2 of Arrow, but never seen. And while we'll have to wait until Season 3 gets underway before we see him in action, we now know the actor who will be embodying him--Matt Nable.
Last night marked the return of Arrow, the smash-hit CW television series focusing on the Emerald Archer and starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Willa Holland, and a whole lot of abs.
Season 1 rocked our faces off with a compelling tale, awesome action, and a super badass villain in the form of Malcolm Merlyn (dude caught an arrow one-handed like it was no big deal)—not to mention majorly changing the status quo at the end by killing off a main character and destroying half the Glades.
