The Stakes Raise For The Edge

In the second issues of the “Edge” group books, the odds are not in our protagonists’ favor. In DEATHSTROKE, MEN OF WAR and ALL-STAR WESTERN, new villains will be revealed. Grifter and Voodoo are on the run while Stormwatch, the Blackhawks, O.M.A.C. and the Suicide Squad must fight battles that’ll have grave consequences.

The Dinosaurs are Magical!? Better call Zatanna...

Superman and Power Girl's battle against dinosaurs in NYC takes a grave twist when they discover these aren't just normal dinosaurs - they're magical dinosaurs. Luckily, Power Girl has a magician on speed-dial. Not-so-luckily it seems that Zatanna isn't able to answer the phone at this moment...

Judd Winick and Sami Basri's POWER GIRL #23, the newest issue of one of the funniest superhero books on shelves right now, and hits comic shops next week.

Superman & Power Girl & Dinosaurs

On the grand scale of things, dinosaurs are far from the most formidable enemies that Superman or Power Girl have fought. Honestly, what's a T-Rex compared to a Darkseid? Show me a velociraptor and I'll show you Doomsday.

So then why are a few overgrown reptiles rampaging through Manhattan giving them so much trouble? Shouldn't this be an easy day's work for those two?

Find out in POWER GIRL #22, on sale Wednesday.

Can Power Girl make Batman remember Max Lord?

Max Lord pulled off the ultimate disappearing act by wiping the memory of his existence from everyone's minds - everyone, that is, except the JLI.

They're going to need some help to blow Max Lord's cover, but how can Power Girl recruit Batman to the cause when he doesn't even believe Max Lord exists?

Judd Winick and Sami Basri's POWER GIRL #21 is on sale this week.

"An albino King Kong with four arms. And a dragon!"

Judd Winick's done a great job in his eight issues of Power Girl telling stories that are not only action-packed, but actually very funny. And as long as he's been on the series, he's had Sami Basri drawing all kinds of crazy things, from aliens to robots to OMACs to, well, giant albino gorillas and dragons, as displayed in the POWER GIRL #20 preview below.

...to which I just have to say bravo, gentlemen. Keep up the great work and I'll be a happy comic reader.

POWER GIRL #20 is on sale this month.
