After Jock emailed over that epic Batman splash page, it was only fair that COMMISSIONER GORDON artist Francesco Francavilla chime in. And wow. Is that a great piece of art – the cover to DETECTIVE COMICS #874.
You should be after you look over these promo images. And with NYCC in full swing, expect lots of BATMAN-centric chatter over the weekend. See you at the booth! [gallery link="file"]
It's good to have you loyal members of the DC Nation with us during these exciting times. As we get closer to the end of an epic 2010, we are pleased to tell you that 2011 is going to be even more amazing. We are in full gear with plans for your favorite characters, and the list of new ideas is growing every day. It's fitting, then during this period where we are working with you in mind, that we welcome you into our home city for the New York City Comic Con.
I know what scares me. But that’s not relevant. What is? How about what scares the master of horror, Stephen King? Monsters? Long lines in the grocery store? Vampires? Swing by and take a look, won’t you?
Some of the most fun I’ve had doing this blog is seeing the process behind a lot of my favorite books. Whether it’s an inked David Finch BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT cover or a Scott Snyder DETECTIVE COMICS script, the chance to get a glimpse of what happens behind the curtain makes the final product that much more exciting.
