Tuesday Roundup: You Can Run or You Can Dial

Villains Month continues this week across The New 52, with the likes of Penguin, Clayface, Eclipso, Ra’s al Ghul, Black Hand, Cheetah and The Rogues running rampant in the pages of your favorite comic books. All of them are must reads for fans of the characters, but there’s one book that’s perhaps a little further down the list that we’d like to point out to you.

Tuesday Roundup: A Variety of Villains

Villains Month is here, and if you’ve seen our homepage today, you can tell that we’re pretty darn excited about it. Don’t get us wrong, we love our heroes. We want them to win. But the bad guys are just so much fun. You never know what to expect when it comes to our villains, so in a month where the villains have taken over all of our comics…well, the one thing we know we can expect is the unexpected!

Oh, and lots of jokes about “rounding up the villains” here in the Tuesday Roundup. You can expect that as well.

Tuesday Roundup: Trinity War Concludes and Vertigo Vamps it Up

Thankfully, all wars end. Usually, we’re pleased and thankful to see them end, though that’s definitely not the case when the war in question is the thrilling crossover event that is “Trinity War.” For the past two months, we’ve followed the mystery, action and tragedy unfolding in the pages of Justice League, Justice League of America and Justice League Dark, eagerly awaiting each new installment.

Tuesday Roundup: Batman and Wonder Woman...Heartbreakers?

It’s shaping up to be another big week in the shops, with Wednesday marking the release of the latest chapters of Superman Unchained, “Trinity War,” Animal Man, Trinity of Sin: Pandora and much more. Of course you’re dying to read them. We’re dying to read them too. However, don’t let your excitement over them cause you to miss some of the other titles on the list below. Especially with two of them offering some of the best, most emotionally perfect issues of their runs.

Tuesday Roundup: Trinities and Trilliums

Yes, we know. You’re hungry for more “Trinity War.” Believe us, so are we, and the next installment will be here soon (next week, as a matter of fact). But that doesn’t mean that we’re taking a break this week. No, if you’re following “Trinity War,” then you definitely want to pick up TRINITY OF SIN: THE PHANTOM STRANGER #11 this week for a key part of the story. Who truly murdered Doctor Light?

Tuesday Roundup: Super-Sized Super Hero Adventures

Batman and Superman are known for large-scale adventure, but those adventures are still often limited to what can fit in a single 20-page comic book. However, once a year, we give the talent behind Batman, Superman and many of our other popular super heroes a chance to dream big and come up with an extra-sized story that takes our characters to places you might not see in their ongoing monthly title. Sometimes you’ll see them tangling with a favorite villain, or exploring a thread from their currently storyline.

Tuesday Roundup: Batman. Superman. Aquaman. (Yes, They Do All Belong in the Same Breath!)

It’s the Monday after Comic-Con, and much of the DC Comics office is working furiously to respond to all the emails that came in over the weekend (we’ll see which arrives first—the bottom of their inbox or Labor Day). However, that’s not about to stop us from bringing you our weekly collection of new comic previews. Not on a week like this. A week that brings with it the third chapter of “Trinity War” (in Justice League Dark #22), the second issue of Batman/Superman, and an icy new issue of Aquaman.

Tuesday Roundup: Trinity War Continues while the Cat and Bat Play…

It’s Comic-Con week, and we’re heading down to San Diego. But if you thought that meant you’d be missing out on our weekly roundup of new comic book previews, think again. With a new installment of Trinity War on the stands and a startling confrontation between Bruce and Selina in BATMAN AND CATWOMAN #22, that’s just not something we can do.
