Look for hints in this week’s new issue, and perhaps in USA Today’s exclusive preview. While you’re at it, check out our first look at BEFORE WATCHMEN: COMEDIAN #1, find out what happens to Nightwing, Catwoman, Red Hood and the Outlaws, and the Birds of Prey after their run-ins with the Court of Owls, and see what goes down when Blue Beetle crosses paths with Mister Bones.

TUESDAY ROUNDUP: May 29th

We hope everyone’s had a good holiday weekend because it’s time to get down to some serious comic book reading. This week sees the release of four highly anticipated new comics from DC, including the last of our DC COMICS – THE NEW 52 “Second Wave,” THE RAVAGERS #1. Written by Howard Mackie, with art by Ian Churchill, The Ravagers spins directly out of “The Culling,” the massive crossover event that wrapped up in last week’s TEEN TITANS #9. It’s a can’t-miss, but then again, so are BATMAN ANNUAL #1 (which ties back to “Night of the Owls”), ANIMAL MAN ANNUAL #1 and SUPERMAN FAMILY ADVENTURES #1. In fact, did you know that our Superman Family Adventures posts last week have become some of the most popular pages on DCComics.com? It’s clear you’re all as excited about this new all-ages series as we are!

Here’s what hit the web yesterday…

See you in the shops!

TUESDAY ROUNDUP: May 22nd

We’ve been looking ahead to Wednesday here on DCComics.com, and it’s hard to agree on what we’re looking forward to the most. Jeff Lemire comes aboard JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK as our new writer and introduces a fresh cast. Grant Morrison returns to the world of Batman in the highly anticipated BATMAN, INCORPORATED #1. “The Culling” concludes in the can’t-miss TEEN TITANS #9. “Night of the Owls” explodes into the past (and present) in the pages of ALL-STAR WESTERN and BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT. Barry Allen mixes it up with some evil sentient gorillas in THE FLASH. All exciting, great stuff. So rather than trying to decide which we're looking forward to the most, we're just going to call it a draw and browse through all of our new comic previews. That way, everyone wins. Hey, that may not make Gorilla Grodd happy, but it sure pleases us.
