Gear Up for Unconventional Urban Warfare in an Original Download Only First-Person Multiplayer Shooter – Available Now for Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Windows PC

BURBANK, Calif. – February 8, 2012 –  Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced the launch of Gotham City Impostors, an original, download only, multiplayer first-person shooter from Monolith Productions for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.

Gotham City Impostors allows up to 12 players to battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by Impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker. The game can be purchased for 1200 Microsoft Points in the Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for Xbox 360, and for $14.99 in the PlayStation®Network, as well as for PC via the Games for Windows LIVE Marketplace, Steam®, Origin, GameStop’s 'Impulse Driven' download store and other leading digital resellers.

Players can engage in deliriously fast paced, uniquely vertical, and completely unconventional urban warfare where progress supports leveling up and access to a mind-boggling array of customization options. Unlock new Bats or Jokerz costumes and build your own specific loadout from a huge assortment of traditional and homebrew weaponry, equipment, and perks. Gadgets such as the Glider Rig, Grappling Hook, and Spring Boots give gamers unprecedented mobility options, while support items like the Bear Traps, Boomerang, and Body Armor open up new tactical options.

The game features five maps and four modes inspired by DC Comics’ Batman license.  The maps include Crime Alley, Amusement Mile, Ace Chemical, The Docks and Gotham Power.  Gamers can choose from several gameplay modes – Team Deathmatch, Fumigation or Psych Warfare modes – and engage in all-out combat, or they can choose the Challenges mode, a single-player mode that allows players to safely explore the different maps and practice using different weapons, support items and gadgets.

A free downloadable content pack will be available in March.  It will include a new “25th Floor” map, as well as over 100 new customization options including weapons, support items, costumes and calling card elements.

If you’re a fan of the hugely popular UNCHARTED video game series then we’ve got just the thing for you – issue #1 of the new UNCHARTED comic book series is available starting today.  The six-issue series is written by Joshua Williamson with pencils by Sergio Sandoval and covers by Tony Harris. It takes place before both UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception and UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves games and finds Nathan Drake discovering that the legendary Amber Room was hidden by another great explorer, Sir Richard Byrd, where legend has it that many, many years ago, Byrd hid the Amber Room in the fabled Agartha (a legendary city that is said to reside in the earth’s core, often referred to as “The Hollow Earth”). Drake competes with a new adversary to find clues that will lead them on a journey to the center of the Earth.

New Superman Game Soars Up the Charts

If you haven’t downloaded the new SUPERMAN iOS game from Chillingo, what are you waiting for? The new iPhone game is getting stellar reviews and is consistently ranked in the top 10 among all paid apps on the App Store since launching last week.  Here’s what everyone is saying:

MTV Geek says "Superman, the new iOS game, is the best Superman videogame I have ever played.”

Top app review site 148 Apps gave the game 5/5 stars and states “For its well developed gameplay, extensive level offerings and superhero abilities, Superman is a iOS game that new and old fans will enjoy. Thus, I’d highly recommend checking it out.”
