What's New In The New 52 – Introducing Cheshire

Welcome to week four of What's New in The New 52 – where you, the fans, get a sneak peek at the stuff that crosses our desks. This little feature is a way to keep you all in the loop about what's new, different and exciting in The New 52 – whether it's a character design, cover, splash page or panel.

Last week, we showed you the design for Bronze Tiger and teased that he’ll be somehow tied to the unraveling of Jason Todd’s memories. Today, take a look at another person from Jason’s past who’ll be appearing in the pages of RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS soon to shed a little bit more light on Jason’s origin. But can Jason trust Cheshire? And what’s her connection to Bronze Tiger?

See you tomorrow!

What's New In The New 52 - Meet Nightmare Nurse

When The Phantom Stranger is dying, there aren’t a whole lot of people out there with the ability to save him. Could Nightmare Nurse be his only hope? And even if she is, her introduction to The New 52 won’t be received with welcoming arms by a certain chain-smoking and egotistical Brit …

You may have already seen Nightmare Nurse in the pages of TRINITY OF SIN: THE PHANTOM STRANGER #8 yesterday. Here, take your first look at artist Fernando Blanco’s take on the character in the pages of next month’s issue, as well as Philip Tan’s initial design for her. Care for a check-up?

See you tomorrow,

What's New In The New 52 – Cyborg...Superman?

Some of you might remember the last time a Cyborg Superman showed up. Would we dare revisit such a classic storyline? Hmmm. Well, never say never, right? As I've been telling you, all bets are off. Everything's on the table.

Sorry to make your head explode on a Friday, but enjoy Kenneth Rocafort's lovely sketch in the meantime. We'll be in the conference room discussing … oh, never mind.

Happy Friday,
Bob

What’s New In The New 52 – Jonah Hex Crashes into the Present

Jonah Hex in the present? Well, the picture says it all, my friends. But what does it mean? For that, you'll have to check out ALL-STAR WESTERN. We caught a lot of you by surprise when we revealed that none other than Booster Gold would be showing up in Hex's book – but the surprises don't stop there. But hey, a little change of scenery never hurt anyone, right?

Come back tomorrow for another jaw-dropper …

Until next time,
Bob

What’s New In The New 52 – Meet The Green Team

Welcome to week two of What's New in The New 52 – where you, the fans, get a sneak peek at the stuff that crosses our desks. It's been a busy couple of days, as you can probably tell. Just last week we gave you a glimpse of the mystical and threatening Papa Midnight popping up in CONSTANTINE, the Joker’s Daughter, and a new major cosmic foe, Relic, whose presence will change the Green Lantern universe forever.

This little feature is a way to keep you all in the loop about what's new, different and exciting in The New 52 – whether it's a character design, cover, splash page or panel.

What's in store for this week? Well, how about a peek at Ig Guara's character designs for THE GREEN TEAM: TEEN TRILLIONAIRES? Money plus superpowers plus the insane brains of Art and Franco … what more do you need? The series launches at the end of next month – but why wait until then? THE GREEN TEAM, along with Gail Simone and Freddie E. Williams II's THE MOVEMENT is another example of our ongoing efforts to try new things – including new series with new characters by your favorite creators. Stay tuned for more.
