Get Your Photo Taken at the DC Entertainment Booth at WonderCon

Earlier today, we shared with you our panel schedule for WonderCon.

This morning, we’ve got more exciting things to share with you lucky people who will be attending WonderCon this weekend. At the DC Entertainment booth, we’ll have three different green screen backgrounds for you to take your picture in front of. For the first time, you’ll be able to have your photo taken with Alfred E. Neuman. You’ll also get a chance to have a picture of you snapped in front of the artwork of industry legend Jim Lee, DC Entertainment Co-Publisher and the artist of the bestselling JUSTICE LEAGUE. But that’s not all!

EARTH 2 CHARACTER DESIGNS – WONDER WOMAN

Coming in May, DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 “Second Wave” will literally expand the world-building efforts of the comprehensive publishing initiative. With the addition of a parallel Earth that features prominently into both EARTH 2 and WORLDS’ FINEST, the developing narrative will encompass new heroes from distinctly different backgrounds, building on the shared universe in some surprising ways. “Due the events that open the saga of EARTH 2, Wonder Woman is already the last Amazon of this world and she is determined to avenge her sisters...at whatever cost,” said EARTH 2 writer James Robinson. "How did Wonder Woman come to be the last of the Amazons?" asks EARTH 2 editor Pat McCallum. "It's one of the mysteries we'll be getting into with the series. While there will be recognizable faces and settings on EARTH 2, don't for a moment think you're on familiar ground. Do that, and you let your guard down...and then you'll end up like the rest of the Amazons." Here’s a first look at the Wonder Woman of EARTH 2, designed by Jim Lee.

Here’s a round up of the exclusive previews from this week’s DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 releases, on sale Wednesday.

USA TODAY has your first look at BATMAN #6 and interviewed series writer Scott Snyder and series artist Greg Capullo. “The fun of the court is that they are faceless and that Bruce is frustrated by the fact that he can't figure out who they are, and that even when he was a boy he couldn't put a finger on what they've done to affect his destiny. That is going to play a very big part coming up,” Snyder said of the Court of Owls and the upcoming “Night of the Owls” crossover event that will be spanning all the Bat-books. “This second half of the story really is going to explore who is behind the mask — both in a way where you will find out some of the people who are Owls, but more importantly you'll find out who they've been historically to Gotham and how they've shaped the Bat-mythology in ways that I think will be really shocking to people.”
