Alterton Bizarre

 

 

Alterton was born in the cold and windy lands of Patagonia, way south Argentina in Trelew city; Chubut Province where he still lives. A self-taught traditional sculptor he began his career in the collectibles industry while in senior year of his dentistry studies working for Art Asylum. When he was finishing his orthodontics post grad he realized he was spending more time sculpting superheroes than drilling tooth roots so he decided to quit dentistry to became a full time collectibles sculptor. He worked for companies such as Diamond Select, Art Asylum and F4F among others.

 

 

 

His first work for DC was the Frank Miller’s Batman for the Batman Black & White line in 2008 under Shawn Knapp's direction when DC Collectibles was known as DC Direct.  
In 2010 he embraced the new technologies and became a self-taught digital sculptor. Since then he has done work for McFarlane toys, Pop Culture Shock Collectibles, DC Collectibles and Hollywood Collectibles Group, to name a few.

 

 

 

He has worked with all kind of licenses from games like Capcom; movies like Aliens; TV shows such as The Walking Dead and of course comics of all kinds among other licenses.
