A note from Bob Harras about DC Comics-The New 52

This has been such a monumental week for DC Comics. What we launched with (the already sold out!) JUSTICE LEAGUE #1 was absolutely amazing. And what’s more exciting still is that it was just a first taste of what’s to come.

(Everybody's Talkin' About) DC Comics-The New 52, Early Tuesday AM Edition

As I type this blog post, the halls of 1700 Broadway are mostly quiet. Quiet, that is, save for the sounds of Jim Lee and Geoff Johns doing another round of morning radio interviews.

With less than 24 hours to go before tonight's midnight launch of DC Comics-The New 52, the press coverage continues to roll in. Among the late night/early morning highlights?

* THE ADVOCATE has an exclusive preview of BATWOMAN # 1.

The Epic Conclusion to “Reign of the Doomsdays” Has Arrived

With the Earth four minutes away from complete destruction, a friend and ally lays down his life for the sake of billions of innocent lives. In this action-packed finale, Lois plays a crucial role by reminding Superman that because of his good nature, he will always be an inspiration to others.

The final issue of this run of ACTION COMICS, written by Paul Cornell with art by Axel Giménez, embodies why Superman has remained such a lasting icon and inspirational figure. The issue goes on sale today.

An unexpected ally joins in the battle against the Doomsdays

As Steel, Superboy, and Supergirl use all of their might to beat Doomsdays across the world into submission, Superman faces down with the real mastermind behind the reign of terror. But even with all of their powers combined, is the super-team strong enough to defeat all of the Doomsdays? Perhaps the help of an unexpected ally will bring them the victory they’re hoping for and stop the Reign of the Doomsdays once and for all.
