First Look: Superboy Joins the Teen Titans

Robin has said many times that Jon Kent, AKA Superboy, is too young for the Teen Titans. After all, he’s not technically a teen. Well, that’s getting pretty hard to buy into seeing how Robin is no longer one either. After their run-in with a mysterious trio of villains last month, Damian Wayne has found himself with a sudden case of the olds, and if he’s going to have any hope of reversing the clock and losing the liver spots, he’s going to need Superboy’s help. And maybe a good hip brace.

CeeLo Green, Puffy AmiYumi and More Tackle Teen Titans Go!

“When I look at you, I see the story in your eeeeyes…”

If that line has you scratching your head, then you have yet to be exposed to the greatest pop song in the known universe (at least according to Cyborg). We are, of course, talking about “The Night Begins to Shine” by B.E.R., a slice of ’80s-inspired electro-soul that is extremely well known to fans of Teen Titans Go!

Teen Titans: Never too Young for a Rebirth

If you missed my discussion of the first Titans Rebirth collection, then you missed me confessing that I love the Teen Titans more than almost anything in the comic book sphere. Just so you know that this is where my bias is coming from.

DC Super Hero Girls Prepare for Battle in Intergalactic Games

Super Hero High is a place for young heroes to learn all the usual subjects and life lessons one studies in high school and also how to use their super powers and skills for the good of humanity. While they balance attending class and striving for top marks with doing whatever's necessary to protect the citizens of nearby Metropolis, they also participate in the usual school activities—you know, sports, clubs and Intergalactic Games. The latter competition is the subject of the all-new animated movie, DC Super Hero Girls: Intergalactic Games.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is Terra-rific!

When I wrote my recent review of TITANS VOL. 1, I disclosed at the beginning of that piece that I have a deep abiding love for the Teen Titans that has existed since I was a young child. The first comic I bought on my own was NEW TEEN TITANS #39 which features the classic Teen Titans team and still has Terra on the team masquerading as an ally to the rest of her peers.

DC Comics 101: Why "The Judas Contract" Matters

Every superhero or super team in the DCU has a story or two that define who or what they are at their core—their very own DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, if you will—and for the Teen Titans, that story is THE JUDAS CONTRACT.

Time-Hopping Adventures Are Ahead in DC Super Hero Girls

It's hard to believe DC Super Hero Girls is now over a year old. Since we first met them, the attendees of Super Hero High have bounced between animated shorts, a variety of toys, original graphic novels, and most recently, a digital first comic series. A new chapter of PAST TIMES AT SUPER HERO HIGH soars onto digital shelves today, December 14, and we talked with writer Shea Fontana about the ins and outs of storytelling in this format.
