Already re-imagining the early history of Superman in ACTION COMICS, Morrison brings a fresh take on Batman to DC COMICS-THE NEW 52.

GI COMBAT: UNKNOWN SOLDIER

We recently announced DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 “Second Wave,” which will launch GI COMBAT. This new series will feature rotating back up stories. First up is UNKNOWN SOLDIER by the writing team that brings you ALL-STAR WESTERN, Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti, with art by Dan Panosian.

We caught up with Justin and Jimmy to ask them about their story and here’s what they had to say:

WRITER PAUL LEVITZ ON WORLDS’ FINEST

Last week, we announced DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 “Second Wave,” featuring six new series coming in May. In WORLDS’ FINEST, writer Paul Levitz jumps between parallel Earths, following the story of Earth 2’s Huntress and Power Girl as they struggle to find their way back home. But fans of these heroes should keep in mind that they aren’t the Huntress and Power Girl we know so well.

China Miéville talks DIAL H and his superheroic alter ego

We recently announced DC Comics-The New 52 “Second Wave” and DIAL H which will be written by China Miéville with art by Mateus Santoluoco.

I had the chance to talk with China about writing his first ongoing series that will begin this May and what inspires him about the cult classic title DIAL H FOR HERO.

So, China, you’re an established award-winning novelist and now you’ll be writing your first ongoing comic book series. Can you tell us a bit about what that transition is like?
